The Tech Department is important for our business, we assist the organization through technological innovation and support. Committed to enabling and accelerating business objectives, our multifaceted team ensures that each project undertaken significantly increases process efficiency, enhances quality, reduces costs and lays the groundwork for future innovations. The tech department comprises four integral units:

  • IT Support maintains the chosen infrastructure of IT systems, addresses technical issues and facilitates internal efficiency by minimizing downtime and quickly onboarding new employees and systems.
  • Data Architecture ensures the correct data is captured, maintained and readily accessible to facilitate data-driven decision processes in the company.
  • Financial Systems maintains and develops the ERP and related integrations and tools to facilitate growth of the company through efficient and compliant processes while prioritizing the highest level of data quality.
  • Brand Performance Systems uses the Data Architecture and ERP to develop and maintain analytical reports and tools which are used to drive growth and efficiency by utilizing both internal and competitor data.

The Operational Excellence department at Go North plays a vital role in enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s operations. As a key support function, our department collaborates with various teams across the organization to drive business excellence, optimize processes, and provide project management support. We strive to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to maximize productivity. By closely working with different departments, we contribute to the seamless functioning of the company and help achieve strategic objectives. With a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence, our department serves as a catalyst for growth and success within the broader context of Go North.

The Accounting team is a young group of people with different experiences within accounting. Together we solve accounting issues and improve the financial systems with the aim to be IPO-ready – we do this together, with close collaboration across the organization, and all problems are solved with laughter. A core experience was when the whole of finance team had a kick-of in Båstad where we played games and got to know each other – this experience strengthen the department.

The Sustainability department contributes to developing the company’s business from a sustainability perspective with goals, strategy, and processes to deliver on the strategy. We also track the results of our work and educate employees on these matters, as it is crucial for achieving the best results. With the help of flexible colleagues and supportive management, we make sustainability a profitable and integrated part of our business. By working together with different departments, we drive business growth and create a positive impact that benefits both our company and the planet.

The Finance department is ensuring that all Go North’s financial transactions are recorded in our general ledger and payments to and from us are performed correctly and without delay. It is also closely monitoring and managing our cashflow, including our various debt instruments and currency positions. Moreover, forecasting of financial performance is carried out on a continuous basis as well as ongoing support to the business for their decision that requires financial analysis and modelling.

By leveraging data-driven insights we enhance visibility and maximize sales potential and by analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes, we develop strategies that propel our brands to the top of search results to enhance organic growth. Our team collaborates closely with other key departments, such as Brand Management, External Marketing, and Product Development and together Go North creates synergistic results that drive growth and disrupt the Amazon landscape.

The legal department takes care of all legal matters of the business and serves the other departments in areas such as corporate governance, commercial agreements and the legal aspect of our acquisitions and capital raises. By assisting our departments in various matters, the legal function gets a broad understanding of our business, which in turn makes it easier to work holistic and proactive.

Welcome to the M&A department, the starting point of your brand journey. We are responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets within the e-commerce sector (Could be Amazon FBA sector. Instead). By strategically acquiring established Amazon brands, Go North aims to enhance its product portfolio and expand its market presence. The M&A department works diligently to assess the viability and compatibility of potential acquisitions. This involves conducting thorough due diligence, analyzing financials, assessing growth potential, and evaluating brand reputation. It collaborates closely with other departments, such as operations, marketing, and finance, to seamlessly integrate the acquired brand into the Go North ecosystem. This involves streamlineing operations, optimizing supply chains, and implementing strategies to maximize the acquired brand’s growth potential. The departments serves as the catalyst for the brand’s journey by identifying and acquiring Amazon brands, and subsequently driving their successful integration and growth within the company.
